Cognitive Behavioural Coaching

Cognitive Behavioural Coaching

Having undertaken a Certificate in Mental Health Studies and a Certificate in Life Coaching in 2022/2023, I embarked on further learning in the form of an Accredited Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Coaching.

Delivered by Graham Nicholls of The Priority Academy and accredited by the Complementary Therapies Accredited Association, I found the course to be information, interesting and rewarding.

As someone who has been on the receiving end of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I was intrigued to learn more about how the concepts from CBT could be applied to a coaching scenario.

Of course, as the name suggests, Cognitive Behavioural Coaching is a form of personal coaching which has been derived from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

In simple terms, Cognitive Behavioural Coaching will help me, as a coach, to help clients to explore, identify and challenge self-limiting and self-defeating beliefs, thoughts, feelings and behaviours using different techniques, exercises, activities and strategies with the aim of helping them to gain clarity around goals or changing behaviours and taking action around achieving them.

I am delighted to be in a position to offer 1:1 CBC sessions.
